Four projects that span the range — survey-data automation, an HR platform in daily government use, a pharmacy system, an offline-first ledger for informal trade.
A tool that turns raw hydrographic survey data into the as-built control sheets used to check that each coastal groyne is built to its design.
An internal platform for ARCOP, Togo's public procurement regulator, that runs its HR on software instead of paper: staff records, leave and absence requests with their approvals, and HR document requests.
Management software for the pharmacy of a medical-social centre in Togo: sales, batch stock, insurance claims, medical acts, purchasing, staff and accounting in one tool.
A phone app that shows a small trader their real turnover, margins and month-end forecast from the prices and sales they enter, and works with no internet.

From idea to production
I care about product thinking as much as code — what the thing is for, how it holds up in production, and whether the next engineer can maintain it. Clean architecture, tests where they earn their place, real deployment, and iteration once it is in front of users.

04About
I'm a software engineer who builds web systems, data pipelines and offline-first applications. Based in Mindelo, Cabo Verde, I work remotely with teams and clients across West Africa and internationally.
My work has run through maritime survey data for a Dutch dredging multinational, fintech and food-tech platforms, HR and pharmacy systems in daily production use, and AI consulting. The common thread is thin margins, unreliable connectivity and real processes that have to run every day — which is why I build offline-first, cheap to run, and honest about failure.
I serve as an external evaluator for MIT Solve, reviewing startup applications worldwide. I am also a Master’s researcher in Marine Sciences and Climate Change on the WASCAL programme — the domain knowledge behind the geospatial and environmental data work I already do, not a change of direction.
